Museum, Archive & Government Documentation
Avant-Garde Films, DBA BriSen Photography, delivers trusted visual documentation services for government and corporate cultural-heritage projects.
In September 2025, AGF completed a nationwide visual documentation initiative for the Naval History and Heritage Command, covering 16 sites across the United States. Over the course of this multi-month assignment, more than 250 historically significant artifacts were photographed for archival preservation and public presentation.
This work required precise image capture, site coordination, travel logistics, artifact handling protocols, and consistent high-resolution output. From permanent museum collections to loaned artifacts housed in regional institutions, every object was documented with the accuracy and care required for long-term cultural preservation.
This project demonstrates AGF’s ability to manage large-scale federal logistics while delivering reliable, publication-ready imagery.
Previously, in 2007, I led the Alaska Digital Imaging Project for the National Park Service, photographing more than 1,600 artifacts across museum collections in Juneau, Sitka, Anchorage, Gustavus, and Fairbanks, contributing to the preservation and accessibility of Alaska’s historical and archaeological heritage.
